As a new research center at Harvard University, the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) needed to quickly establish an authoritative presence and build awareness of its expertise. As Director of External Affairs, Erin created a brand strategy and website that conveyed solemnity and efficacy, while engaging a global audience of relief agencies, grantmakers, researchers, and students. 

The resulting materials and website served diverse, highly-educated users and pushed HHI into the global arena — all while conforming to Harvard's strict brand standards. HHI has since won support from The Open Society Institute, Omidyar Network, Google, USAID, and the United Nations.
